Kentucky Derby 2024 announcers: Who's calling this year's race at Churchill Downs on NBC?
This year’s Kentucky Derby will once again crown a champion with roses on Saturday at Churchill Downs, as horses and jockeys compete for the ultimate prize in horse racing.
The festivities get started at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC and the USA network, while Peacock and the NBC Sports app will also broadcast coverage. The main race will commence at 6:57 p.m. ET.
The All-Stakes, All Dirt P5 race will start at 12:04 p.m. ET, while the Old Forester Turf Classic will run before the main derby at 5:27 p.m. ET.
On NBC’s coverage, Kentucky Derby legend Larry Collmus will return to call the main race, while Mike Tirico and Rebecca Lowe will host the network’s coverage.
Randy Moss, Eddie Olczyk, Jerry Bailey and Matt Bernier will provide analysis on the day’s events, while Lowe and Ahmed Fareed will present the final trophy after the main derby.
