Kentucky Derby 2024: Updated odds as of the Saturday afternoon of the race

We’re into the final stretch of betting before the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby calls for riders up.

Post time is scheduled for 6:57 p.m. ET, which means there are still a few hours left to get your wagers in. That also means the odds will be rapidly moving up until the final moments — and you don’t even have to be at the track to get in on the action.

As of Saturday morning Fierceness (7-2) has been the favorite, but there is still a chance of rain in the forecast at Churchill Downs, which could certainly favor a few of the other contenders instead. Fortunately, the track has been running fast all day so far.
