Sensex rises 250 points tracking positive cues from global peers; Nifty above 22,000

From the Sensex stocks, NTPC, ITC, Axis Bank, JSW Steel, and Power Grid were the top gainers, rising over 1% each in early trade. On the other hand, Infosys, HCL Tech, TCS, and HDFC Bank opened in the red.
