Trump’s bad character deserves to be spotlighted | READER COMMENTARY

I found it enlightening to read the acknowledgment by Armstrong Williams, co-owner of The Baltimore Sun, that the Stormy Daniels scandal is a situation of Donald Trump’s own making which reflects poorly on his character (“Armstrong Williams: Stormy Daniels mess Donald Trump’s creation,” May 8). However, I am puzzled by Williams’ need to involve Christianity in the discussion.

Trump’s actions, characterized by serial adultery, dishonesty, narcissism and overall moral failings are apparent to all. These traits alone suffice to question his integrity. There is no need to invoke religious standards to establish his character flaws.
