Man accused of operating drug factory out of Bristol home
A man arrested on narcotics charges Thursday has been accused of operating a drug factory out of a Bristol home.
Jorge Concepcion, 45, faces two counts of illegal sale of narcotics and a single count each of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, operation of a drug factory, use of narcotic paraphernalia and criminal possession of a firearm, according to the Bristol Police Department.
According to police, the department’s Narcotic Enforcement Team began investigating Concepcion earlier this month after allegedly receiving numerous complaints suggesting he was selling narcotics out of a home on Mercier Avenue where he resides.
Police said their investigation confirmed the narcotics trafficking allegations, which led to detectives obtaining two warrants for Concepcion’s arrest.
According to police, authorities conducted a drug raid at Concepcion’s residence Thursday and allegedly found evidence indicating he was operating a drug factory, which included illegal narcotics and a gun.
Concepcion was being held on a $150,000 bond and was expected to be arraigned Friday in New Britain Superior Court.
