Cool off with interactive fountains across Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- With temperatures potentially breaking records on Friday and over the weekend, it's important to find some ways to keep cool.

One great way is with the interactive fountains located all around Portland which are up and running just in time for the hot weather.

There are six fountains open around the city, all can be found on the Portland Parks and Recreation interactive map.

Governor Tom McCall Waterfront Park:
Naito Parkway between S Harrison Street and NW Glisan Street

Holladay Park:
NE 11th Avenue and Holladay Street

Most of the fountains are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, with the exception of the Salmon Springs Fountain which opens at 6 a.m.
