This successful startup founded by 2 corporate America dropouts makes some of the comfiest bras and underwear we've ever tried

Andrea's review, size medium: If I had to live on an island and could only take one pair of undies with me, it'd probably be these. I love something that hugs me gently without cutting off circulation or easily bunching into wedgies. The Whipped High Rise slipped on so smoothly, and the micromodal felt seamless on my skin all day. These are the epitome of what I look for in great undies. My only uncertainty is how long they'll last since the fabric is quite thin.

Ashley's review, size XS: If there's such a thing as lounge underwear, these are the perfect pair. The featherweight material is so incredibly comfortable, you hardly notice you're wearing them. I'm also a bit uncertain about how long they'll hold up over time, but my hope is a while because I'm a big fan. They're expensive, but it's definitely a reflection of the quality.

Sally's review, size L: I agree with Andrea — these are maybe the most comfortable underwear I own. They're buttery soft and almost weightless, so they're great for hot weather under flowy dresses, but the smooth material is also extremely comfortable under jeans. The waistband doesn't dig whatsoever, which is my biggest pet peeve with underwear. 

Andrea's review, size 2: I won't be retiring my Sieve anytime soon. It's unlike anything I've ever worn. The Sieve Bra takes on the silhouette of a sports bra but switches out the fabric for a very special Belgian micromesh, which has incredible hold and support while maintaining a sexy sheerness. I'm already a sucker for all things mesh, so when I tried on this bra that mixes a comfort-oriented silhouette with one of the softest fabrics, I practically fell in love. I was wooed by the mesh and enchanted by the fit.

Sally's review, size L:  I absolutely love this bra! I couldn't have said it better than Andrea — it's equal parts supportive and sexy, and the sports bra silhouette makes it the perfect T-shirt bra.  The cups have been molded to create pockets for your chest so it's not just a flat piece of stretchy mesh. This design means the bra works well for larger cup sizes (hallelujah!). I've even caught the mesh on my rings while putting it on and it miraculously hasn't snagged yet.

Andrea's review, size 2: The Sieve non-wire felt like a hybrid mix of a T-shirt bra and sports bra, all made of a soft, sexy mesh. I found this to be a nice mix of comfort and support. But, probably out of habit and preference for the sporty silhouette, I'll probably be wearing the Sieve much more.

Ashley's review, size 1: I can't say enough good things about this bralette. I've tried dozens over the years and never found one I truly loved – until now. The stretchy mesh is comfortable enough to sleep in (not something I say often) and somehow provides plenty of support and lift. I'd recommend everything I've tried from Negative but this is definitely my top pick.

Sally's review, size 2: Bralettes like these are really hard to get right for larger chest sizes, but this one worked incredibly well for my DDs (which are sometimes DDDs depending on the time of the month). Of all the bralettes I've tested in my many years covering women's basics for Insider Reviews, this is my favorite. It lifts them up without separating too much or squishing together —plus, it's the perfect silhouette for V-neck sweaters or shirts. 

Andrea's review, size medium: The Sieve Thong gets points for its thick waistband, sexy look, and comfortable fit. For thongs, I really appreciate a sturdy waistband that doesn't roll down or get easily shifted. This thong is just what I like. Plus, it's mesh front panel makes it breathable and very comfy.

Ashley's review, size XS: I didn't think I'd like the Sieve Thong but once I had it on, it was much more comfortable than I expected. The thick waistband stays put and feels secure, so it's a good match for things like active leggings where you're moving around a lot. My usual size XS fit, but I think a size up would have been more comfortable. 

Sally's review, size L: Sadly, I think I'm the odd one out here — I don't love these underwear. The band digs into my soft belly and hips and the thong gave me one of the most uncomfortable wedgies of my life! I don't recommend these if you carry your (beautiful and perfect) weight around your thighs/belly/hips/butt like I do.

Andrea's review, size 2: The Whipped Triangle Bra is my other favorite from the brand. The material is so soft and lightweight, and the bra offered great support throughout the day. Triangle bras can be tricky between getting the right sizing between bust and band, but I liked the balance in this one.

Ashley's review, size 0: I'm not a big fan of triangle bralettes in general, but I did like this one, probably because it has the same material as the Whipped High Rise underwear. While some triangle bralettes are more flimsy, this one has a sturdy band that offers a decent amount of support. Plus, I can tell the hook-and-eye closure isn't an afterthought; it feels like something you'd find on a high-end underwire bra.

There isn't anything I tried on from Negative Underwear that didn't feel luxurious and flattering. Carrying that feeling with me throughout my day made a difference in things as simple as my comfort, freedom in movement, and mood.
