UK Conservative MP Natalie Elphicke defects to Starmer’s right-wing Labour Party

Elphicke is seeking to salvage her political career by jumping ship to a Labour Party expected to easily win a general election later this year, and she can do so by joining a party whose programme is identical to that of the Tories.
