They walk amongst us

Was shopping at Morrisons in Stirchley this afternoon and the lad behind me in the queue was taking to his girlfriend about how “we” will qualify for the champions league today if Spurs lose even if “we” lose 8-0 tomorrow, which is likely because “we” have no players.

I decided to channel the spirit of RAGS and inconvenience him as much as possible, firstly I faffed around looking for my more card but said I had forgotten it, even though I hadn’t, then realised it was on the key ring, then I said I’ve got a bit of a dry throat and needed sone cough sweets, oh yes savers stamps how could I forget these and how the Mrs would be mad if I forgot them. Lastly time to pay I’ll pay some cash which involved me emptying all the change from my wallet and the rest on card, at this point I even decided to actually key in my pin rather than tapping.

Very petty I know but inconveniencing one of that lot was worth it. It’s not quite not offering them a job.
