One woman’s budget beauty buy may be the key to perfecting your arches.
In her viral video, Darlin (@xo.xo.darlin) demonstrated how her favorite brow gel works for her followers.
“Everyone is going crazy over this peel-off tattoo brow gel so let me tell you everything you need to know about it,” the TikToker said.
The gel she used was the $14 Maybelline New York Brow Tattoo Longlasting Tint.
Darlin explained that she had previously tried the product in a warmer tone, giving her brows a light brown appearance.
For her video demonstration, she opted for a cooler tone, which was “almost black” when it set in.
For her first step, she prepped her eyebrows for a smooth and even application.
“Make sure your brows are clean when you do this and brush them all up in the same direction,” she advised her audience.
Darlin then drew a thick layer of the gel onto her brows, taking care with the shape she created.
“When you are applying the brow gel make sure you give the brows a shape that you want them to have at the end,” she warned.
“I build one thick layer and this is exactly the shape I want them to look.”
Darlin also cautioned her viewers about matching their application evenly on both brows.
“Try to get both brows to look as even as possible and don’t forget to clean up if you need to,” she said.
The makeup pro carried out the rest of her getting-ready routine as the gel set in on her brows.
“I let the brow gel sit while I did my makeup and now it’s time to pull this off,” she said.
Darlin carefully peeled the gel off both her brows and showed her audience the finished look.
