Dwayne Johnson fans think the actor looks ‘unrecognizable’ in the first look for upcoming movie The Smashing Machine
DWAYNE ‘The Rock’ Johnson has appeared unrecognizable in a photo for a new movie.
The former wrestler is starring in the upcoming film, The Smashing Machine, with Emily Blunt, next year.
In the first promo photo, Dwayne, 52, made fans do a double take as he has a full head of hair.
This is completely different from his usual bald head.
Dwayne’s face also looks unrecognizable as he appears in pain in the photo.
His normal muscles are on display.
However, some fan didn’t recognize Dwayne and commented on his changed appearance.
“Dwayne looks totally different,” one X, formerly Twitter, user said.
“He looks so different,” said another.
“I actually had to zoom in to make sure that was him because wow… literally unrecognizable!” a third said.
“Didn’t even recognize him!” said one fan.
“Why does he look so different?” asked another.
“That’s THE ROCK??? Holy s**t looks unrecognizable,” an X user wrote.
“Rock looks UNRECOGNIZABLE,” a shocked fan said.
‘TIME TRAVELED’
The description on the photo read, “First look at Benny Safdie’s THE SMASHING MACHINE starring @TheRock and Emily Blunt.”
Emily, 41, stood off to the side, outside of the rink in the photo.
