The Glenlivet has released a new aged Scotch whisky called Caskmakers. To make it, the Speyside distillery meticulously deconstructed two barrels, then combined the staves to build a new, reconstructed cask. For this run of bottles, the Pernod Ricard-owned brand united ex-sherry casks from Jerez, Spain, and freshly charred European oak barrels.
