SWAT responding to incident in southeast Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department said its SWAT team is responding to an incident in southeast Austin Tuesday afternoon.

APD said on X at 1:41 p.m. that the SWAT team was responding to an incident near the intersection of Salt Springs Drive and Thaxton Road.

Police asked people to avoid the area.
