Ahmedabad: Former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir is receiving all the praise for Kolkata Knight Riders dream IPL 2024 season. Most reckon Gambhir, who has led KKR to the title twice, has injected the aggression that has always been there in him and that has turned around the fortunes of the franchise. During the IPL 2024 Qualifier 1, Gambhir was over the moon while celebrating a wicket that he almost ended up hurting himself. Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc wreaked havoc with the ball after Hyderabad opted to bat first on Tuesday at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. Starc picked up three wickets, but more importantly removed in-form Travis Head in the first over itself. Abhishek Sharma, the other in-form opener, also did not get among the runs and that hurt the Sunrisers franchise.
