Ward signed to one-year contract

The Steelers signed running back Jonathan Ward to a one-year contract.

Ward, who took part in Steelers rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, will be entering his fifth season in the NFL.

In four seasons, he has played in 43 games, carrying the ball 17 times for 69 yards, a 4.1-yard average. He also has six receptions for 52 yards, an 8.7-yard average, and one touchdown.
