Travelers stop to see Ninja Turtle boulder in Warren County

BAKER MILLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A unique sight on Route 8 is turning some heads. A boulder in Baker Mills in Warren County has been painted to look like Michelangelo, the Ninja Turtle.

The artist behind the mural said she is excited about the buzz the rock has gotten over the past year.

"I was excited," artist Beverly Millington said. "Even on Halloween, someone left a little pumpkin with Michelangelo on the top of Mikey, so that made it even more special."

Millington said she hopes to paint even more rocks across the area, and eventually paint Michelangelo's three other Ninja Turtle brothers.
