The Haryana IT hub's main contenders are Congress' Raj Babbar, former actor and seasoned politician with three Lok Sabha wins in Uttar Pradesh, and the Bharatiya Janata Party incumbent and former Minister, Rao Inderjit Singh. Five years ago, in 2019, Singh won with a landslide 881,546 votes (60.9%), while Congress' Capt. Ajay Singh secured 495,290 votes (34.2%). The Bahujan Samaj Party's Chaudhary Rais Ahmad came third with 26,756 votes (1.8%).
