Troy man found guilty in 2023 Easter homicide

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Troy man was found guilty of second-degree murder in connection to the death of Alonzo Ford on Easter in 2023. Isaiah Anderson, 38, pleaded not guilty in April.

According to the Albany County District Attorney's Office, on or about April 9, 2023, Anderson was at a Morris Street address and intentionally caused the death of Ford. Authorities say an indictment alleged Anderson also possessed an illegal, loaded firearm, and was found guilty of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Anderson was arrested days after the incident. Sentencing is set for July 26.
