Thomas Frank has said that he would love to keep Ivan Toney at Brentford but acknowledged that the striker will attract plenty of interest this summer.

There is no doubt that Toney will be one of the most sought-after players across the Premier League this summer.
Top-class number nines who guarantee 20-plus goals are hard to come by and it is not often that such a player runs into the final year of his contract.
It has been widely reported over the last couple of weeks that Ange Postecoglou wants to add a centre-forward to his squad this summer, particularly since the Lilywhites could cash in on Richarlison (ESPN).
A number of outlets, including GiveMeSport, have suggested that Toney is one of the names on Tottenham’s striker wishlist, with the Bees man thought to fit the profile that the Lilywhites are after.

However, the same report revealed that the West London club are demanding £60m for their marksman, which Spurs have no intention of paying.
When asked about the ongoing speculation around Toney’s future, Frank has now told The Daily Mail: “He’s a Brentford player right now and I’m the coach and I love to have the best players so I would love to have him in the club. But there’s a lot of rumours and he’s a very good player.”
Spurs Web Opinion
Based on the reports over the last few weeks, it does seem like Spurs are exploring other striker options apart from Toney, potentially because they have been put off by Brentford’s demands or by the striker’s salary demands.
