5 critically hurt when car hits tree in SE Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Five people were critically injured in a single-car crash in Southeast Portland late Saturday night.

The car slammed into a tree in the 7800 block of SE Oaks Park Way, Portland Fire & Rescue officials told KOIN 6 News.

All five people were rushed to the hospital. The names and ages of those involved has not yet been released.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
