‘I’ll take them all’ shoppers rush to grab Aldi-own brand veggie meals – and prices start from 99p
SHOPPERS are racing to their nearest Aldi store to get their hands on the bargain retailers own branded veggie meals for as little as 99p.
The popular supermarket chain revealed their veggie alternatives to shoppers on a Facebook post.
The caption read: “We’ve got plenty of veggie alternatives to switch up your midweek meals.
“Head in store to shop the whole Plant Menu range.”
Hundreds of excited Aldi shoppers recated to the post with one commenting: “Your vegan range is brilliant, thanks Aldi.”
“The best tofu and meat free meatballs around,” said another.
A third wrote: “I’ll take them all.”
Aldi are selling their Organic Super Firm Tofu for just 99p.
The discount supermarket chain also has Pulled BBQ No Pork Chunks on their shelves for £1.99.
It comes after Aldi launched their own-branded gin dupe for just half the price of the original.
Fans of the bargain retailer are rushing to get their hands on the supermarklet’s £16 Lemon Gin.
It is 47 per cent cheaper than Malfoy Con Limone, which costs more than £30.
Aldi also announced it is bringing back a host of gin drinks that were fan favourites amongst shoppers.
Gin lovers across the country are set to rush to their nearest bargain retailer to get their hands on the “Sicilian-inspired” beverage.
It first hit Aldi’s shelves last week, ahead of World Gin Day on June 8.
The Lemon Gin offers “fresh and citrusy lemon flavours combined with the finest juniper botanicals,” according to the retailer.
You can order Aldi’s gin online, but you’ll need to click and collect from your nearest store.
The gin is available in all 1,000 supermarkets though, so you can also visit in person first if it’s easier.
