East Greenbush paving project brings lane closures

EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The New York State Department of Transportation will start drainage and utility work on Route 9 and 20 from Route 4 to Route 9J in East Greenbush on Tuesday, causing lane closures. Several right lane closures are planned, remaining in place overnight and taking three weeks to complete.

Beyond drainage and utility repairs, contractors will mill a half-inch of pavement later in the summer and fill it as part of the project. The paving will shut down multiple lanes from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, with construction dates still to be decided.
