‘America’s Got Talent’: Los Osos High School is your favorite act from ‘AGT’ Auditions 1 [POLL RESULTS]
Following the two-hour premiere of “America’s Got Talent” season 19 on May 28, we asked YOU, “Who was your favorite act?” Among the acts that performed for the judges in Auditions 1 were dance group Los Osos High School, two-year-old mathematician Baby Dev, magician Sam Huang, dog act Daisy May & Clifford, ballet dancer Ashlee Montague, country singer Reyna Roberts, contortionist Arshiya, world record holder Chris Ivan, and body performer Tonikaku.
Based on your votes in our Auditions 1 poll, the dancers of Los Osos High School were your resounding favorite with over 67% popularity. The group was the very first act to take the stage for the new season and wowed the judges with what Heidi Klum called a “kaleidoscope” of a routine, even though she was ultimately on the fence. She thought that while it was good, they could “up the choreography a little bit.” Howie Mandel agreed with Heidi and voted “no” in the judgment of whether they’d advance or not. In the end, Heidi was the third “yes” (along with Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell) to send them through to the next round.
Here’s how all of the acts fared in our poll results as of this writing:
Los Osos High School – 67%
Sam Huang – 26%
Arshiya – 2%
Baby Dev – 1%
Ashlee Montague – 1%
Reyna Roberts – 1%
Tonikaku – 1%
Daisy May & Clifford – less than 1%
Chris Ivan – less than 1%

Not present in our poll were the two acts that received the Golden Buzzer this week. Host Terry Crews sent stand-up comedian Learnmore Jonasi from Zimbabwe straight to the live shows, and Heidi gave her first of two to 55-year-old singer Richard Goodall. The Golden Buzzer twist has been integral to the reality TV show since it was first introduced in Season 10, but this is the first installment that allows for the judges to press it multiple times.
“America’s Got Talent” will continue to air throughout the summer on NBC and the finale of Season 19 will likely air in mid-September, when the next winner will be crowned. The program is such a monumental success that it’s spawned countless versions around the globe, plus four spin-offs in the U.S. alone: “America’s Got Talent: The Champions,” “America’s Got Talent: Extreme,” “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” and “America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League.”
