Testifying before the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, Dr. Fauci reiterated his belief that the pandemic most likely resulted from animal-to-human transmission. He also called Republican accusations of him trying to cover up the origins of the pandemic "absolutely false and simply preposterous."
