Tottenham make shirt sleeve and training wear sponsorship decision for 2024/25
Earlier this morning, Tottenham Hotspur officially launched their brand new home kit for the 2024/2025 season.
At the bottom of the launch announcement, the club confirmed some interesting details which will have answered some questions of eagle-eyed supporters who may have noticed that the Cinch sponsorship logo was not visible on the shirt sleeve.
No sleeve sponsor or training kit sponsor to appear on Spurs retal range
Tottenham announced back in January 2021 that they had agreed a partnership with the online car seller to become their first sleeve partner for both of the men’s and women’s teams’ playing shirts in a five-year deal.
It was confirmed that for the 2024/25 season, the Cinch branding along with that of the yet-to-be-confirmed training wear partner logo will not appear on any of the training wear which is sold for retail.
Fans had been used to seeing the Getir logo appear on the training kit range, however the agreement with the Turkish delivery company came to a conclusion at the end of last season.
This decision will mean that AIA will be the sole brand which appears on the men’s and women’s teams’ playing shirts in the upcoming campaign.
Tottenham wrote as part of their kit launch: “For the 2024/25 season, all of our Kits will be sold without the sleeve partner logo, and our training range will be sold without the training wear partner logo. These are excluded from Retail inventory for the coming season.
“Details on our Away Kit, Third Kit and training range launches will be communicated in due course.”
BetMGM are expected to be Tottenham’s new training wear partner
Getir decided to quit the UK earlier this year and allegedly still owes the club millions of pounds, rumoured to be close to £5million (Sky News).
Las Vegas-based betting brand BetMGM will reportedly replace Getir on the Tottenham Hotspur training apparel from this season (SportBusiness).

This is an interesting move by Tottenham, especially if the club are to partner with a gambling company it will be a welcome decision not to feature it on the retail range by those who are against such brands being present – especially on children’s clothing.
Such is the nature of football and the importance of revenue, Tottenham will certainly want to align with partners who can deliver the highest amount of revenue to the club’s bottom line.
