Pedestrian killed in Northeast Sandy crash

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A late Monday evening crash on Northeast Sandy killed a pedestrian.
Portland Police say officers arrived at the scene just east of the 205 right before 10 p.m. They discovered there had been a crash between a car and a person and the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and the crash is under investigation. Sandy Boulevard was closed in the area while officers investigated.
