Halsey Drops 'The End' Song - Read Lyrics for Emotional New Single About Health Struggles

Halsey has dropped their emotional new single “The End,” which is the first song off their upcoming album.

“long story short, i’m Lucky to be alive. short story long, i wrote an album. it begins with The End. out now,” Halsey wrote on Instagram to release the song.

The song deals with Halsey‘s recent health struggles. In a video shared to Instagram, the singer detailed what they went through.

“I feel like an old lady. I told myself I’m giving myself two more years to be sick… At 30, I’m having a rebirth and I’m not gonna be sick and I’m gonna look super hot and have lots of energy and I’m just gonna get to re-do my 20s and my 30s,” they say in a clip.

In conjunction with this song release, Halsey is making a donation to both The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as well as the Lupus Research Alliance.
