Panthers add wide receiver

CHARLOTTE-The Panthers added another wideout before training camp, bringing in a player who produced in the UFL.

The team signed wide receiver Daewood Davis after working him out recently.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Davis was named to the All-UFL team this spring after he led the Memphis Showboats in receiving.

In 10 games, he caught 41 passes for 446 yards and five touchdowns.
