Schenectady man charged in daughter's death pleads not guilty
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The suspect accused of starving his young daughter to death in Schenectady pleaded not guilty on June 14 to murder and manslaughter charges.
Investigators said he deprived 5-year-old Charlotte Buskey of food and water for several days. She was found unresponsive in April at a home on Elmer Avenue and later died.
Robert is also accused of giving drugs to Charlotte and his 3-year-old son, who is being cared for by relatives. He is being held in jail and is due back in court in July.
