QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Brooklyn man was arrested in Queensbury following a drug investigation on Tuesday. Gregory Nelson, 41, faces several charges.
On Tuesday, law enforcement received information about a possible drug sale at a hotel in Queensbury. Through surveillance, troopers identified Nelson as the suspect.
After further investigation, state troopers say Nelson had multiple active warrants out of Washington County for his arrest. Nelson was taken into custody, and during his arrest, law enforcement said they found drug paraphernalia, a large sum of money, and narcotics including heroin and crack cocaine packaged for sale.
Charges:
Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (six counts)
Second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia
Nelson was taken to Queensbury State Police where he was processed. He was arraigned at the Warren County Centralized Arraignment Part Court and was remanded to the Warren County Correctional Facility without bail.
