June 22, 2024 – Friends of Hemingfield Colliery 10th Anniversary (Elsecar Heritage Centre, Barnsley)
Visit Elsecar on Saturday 22 June for a great opportunity to learn more about the heritage of our local area!
The Friends of Hemingfield Colliery – FoHC are celebrating their tenth anniversary this weekend and have kindly agreed to host talks from 11am starting at the Elsecar Canal Basin, and continuing to Hemingfield Colliery which will also be open for visitors.
Elsecar Heritage Centre and Hemingfield Colliery are located just a few minutes walk from the Trans Pennine Trail who are celebrating their 35th anniversary this year. Visitors are encouraged to walk between the two sites with family fun activities being held at the Heritage Centre.
With lots to see and explore why not join us this Saturday from 10am!
