Turkish media reported that security forces in Istanbul detained 10 foreigners suspected of collaborating with ISIS during operations conducted across seven districts of the city. The identities of those detained have not yet been disclosed.
According to reports, all detainees have been transferred to Istanbul Police Headquarters for interrogation and further legal proceedings.
Anadolu Agency, citing officials, stated that counter-terrorism operations in the country will continue decisively and without interruption.
Turkey has detained dozens of individuals in recent months on charges of membership in ISIS.
Recently, the Interior Ministry released a report stating that over 900 individuals were detained in the past year on charges of collaborating with ISIS, with 506 others undergoing interrogation.
