NYC scraps requirement that later-term aborted fetuses be treated as ‘human remains’

Mayor Eric Adams' health team has scrapped the requirement that a fetus aborted at or after 24 weeks -- considered the point of potential viability to survive early birth -- be disposed of as "human remains" for burial or cremation.
