Man arrested in connection with Cautillion Drive shooting, Youngsville police say

YOUNGSVILLE, La. (KLFY) -- A 20-year-old man was arrested today in connection with a Saturday shooting on Cautillion Drive that left one person injured, according to the Youngsville Police Department.
Iriq Lewis was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on one count of attempted second-degree murder. Police said he was arrested around 11:23 a.m. Wednesday.
The shooting occurred around 4 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Cautillion Drive. A male in his 20s was injured.
Youngsville police said Saturday that the victim is in stable condition.
