HS: S Bank ignored vulnerability warning from teenager
S BANK failed to take action when a 16-year-old boy notified it about a vulnerability that had enabled him to access the account of another client, reports Helsingin Sanomat.
“He told the bank about the issue and showed how [infiltration] was possible, but for one reason or another the matter didn’t move forward at the bank,” Klaus Geiger, a detective inspector at Western Uusimaa Police Department, stated to the newspaper on Tuesday.
