'Take your medication and leave!' James Comer erupts as Democrat cites failed impeachment

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) lashed out at Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) after he brought up a lackluster investigation into President Joe Biden.

At a hearing on Thursday, Moskowitz began by tying former President Donald Trump to Project 2025, a conservative plan that would abolish the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

The Florida Democrat suggested that Trump could divine future weather forecasts.

"You know, I could see it right now, right, Trump would come out and say, it's going to be raining cats and dogs today, please don't eat them," he explained.

Moskowitz then turned to Comer's "failed impeachment" of President Joe Biden.

"Here is the chairman's 300-page book report on impeachment," he remarked. "So I want the chairman to show the American people that we didn't just waste millions of taxpayer dollars to issue this book report."

The Democrat said the chairman's hearing should have been titled "A Legacy of Incompetence, Consequences of the Comer Chairmanship."

Comer fired back: "I would love to be a fly on the wall when you find out that Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential election and his son pled guilty for corruption."

"Mr. Chairman, where's the impeachment vote?" Moskowitz demanded. "I mean, we have a 300-page book report, tens of millions of dollars."

"I'll begin by pointing out that Hunter Biden is going to be sentenced on December 6," Comer said.

"Hunter Biden's not the president," Moskowitz said.

"You need to take your medication and leave!" Comer shouted as he slammed the gavel on the dais.
