The 2024 WNBA regular season wraps up tonight, and among the many, many games is a New York Liberty and Atlanta match-up, which might just be a preview of the first round of this year's Playoffs. The game might be a little hard to find on TV, so we've put together everything you need to know about how to watch the Atlanta Dream vs. New York Liberty online.
The New York Liberty leads the league this year with an impressive 32-7 record. No matter what happens tonight, the Liberty will keep that top ranking going into the Playoffs (which start September 22). This means that the Liberty will host the first two games of Round 1. However, who they'll be playing is another story entirely.
Right now, the Atlanta Dream is in the elusive eighth spot in the league, meaning they're tentatively matched up with New York for the Playoffs. A win against the Chicago Sky on Tuesday put Atlanta at number 8, with a 14-25 record. The Washington Mystics and the Sky both have 13-26 records and are also slated to play their final games and final shot at the Playoffs tonight. If Atlanta wins, they'll lock into the Playoffs against the Liberty. But if they don't win and Washington pulls off a victory, the Mystics will go to the Playoffs. If both Atlanta and Washington lose and Chicago wins, the Sky will squeak into the Playoffs. So it's safe to say it could still very well be anyone's game.
Whether you're rooting for Atlanta to make it to the Playoffs or you're hoping for a New York victory, we've got you covered. Keep reading to learn where to live stream the game, and don't forget to check out our guide on how to watch WNBA games for info on future match-ups, including the playoffs.
