Dylan Vente – PEC Zwolle
Dylan Vente has hit the ground running back in The Netherlands with PEC Zwolle. The front man has played four matches so far, scoring twice!
The 25-year-old opened his account in a 3-0 victory over Heracles Almelo before opening the scoring in a 1-1 draw with FC Twente.
Allan Delferrière – Racing Union Lëtzebuerg
Box-to-box midfielder, Allan Delferrière joined Racing Union Lëtzebuerg at the end of August.
Allan has made a positive start to his start to in Luxembourg with a 4-2 sin over Diddeleng on his debut. Racing Union Lëtzebuerg currently sit fourth in the Luxembourg National Division with 14 points from six games.
Jair Tavares – Motherwell
Jair joined Motherwell in a Deadline Day switch on a season-long loan. The creative midfielder made his debut for the Well earlier this month, coming off the bench against Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
Kanayo Megwa – Partick Thistle
Promising defender Kanayo Megwa joined Partick Thistle earlier this week and could make his debut for the Scottish Championship side this weekend!
The Jags take on Dunfermline Athletic on Saturday 21 September, kick-off at 3pm.
Murray Johnson & Murray Aiken – Airdrieonians
Both Murray Johnson and Murray Aiken have featured regularly for Championship side Airdrieonians.
After missing large parts of the 2023/24 campaign due to injury – Murray Aiken has enjoyed being back on the pitch, making 10 appearances so far (all comps) and scoring a last-minute equaliser against Hamilton in a 2-2 draw at the end of August.
Academy graduate and teammate, Murray Johnson, has played seven games so far – including every league game this season – keeping two clean sheets in the process.
Airdrie sit eighth in the league table after five matches!
Scottish League One
Elsewhere in Scotland, Oscar MacIntyre has been a key factor in Queen of the South’s positive start to the season. The Doonhamers sit second in League One, with Oscar featuring in every league game and making 11 appearances to date (nine starts).
Malik Zaid (Annan Athletic) and Reuben McAllister(Cove Rangers) have also been playing their football in Scottish League One.
Malik has featured prominently for Annan, scoring on his league debut in a 3-1 victory over Cove Rangers and has played in eight matches so far (six starts).
Reuben has played once for Cove, making his debut in a 3-2 defeat to Stenhousemuir.
Scottish League Two
In the lower leagues, Rory Whittaker has spent the 2024/25 campaign across the capital at Spartans FC. Rory has played six times for Spartans (all comps), including in their impressive Premier Sports Cup victory over Ross County in the Second Round.
Spartans take on Aberdeen this weekend in the quarter-finals at Pittodrie.
Freddie Owens has spent the start of this season in the Lowland League with Civil Service Strollers. The young shot-stopper has made six league appearances to date, with the Civil Service sitting 14th in the table after nine games.
Kyle McClelland – Coleraine FC
Further afield, Kyle McClelland has been a regular name on the teamsheet for Coleraine FC in the Northern Ireland Football League.
The young centre-back has played every minute for Dean Shiels’ side, who currently sit in mid-table after six games.
Josh O’Connor – Dundalk FC
Josh O’Connor has made one appearance for Dundalk FC in the League of Ireland Premier Division.
The striker came off the bench against Galway United in a 2-0 defeat in August.
