Prep football: Readers pick Arcata at Oakland game for us to cover

The readers have spoken.

We will be covering the Arcata at Oakland high school football game on Friday night.

In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, the Arcata-Oakland matchup finished first with 46.10% of the vote.

The Campolindo at El Cerrito game took second at 44.39%.

The new poll will help us choose one of the numerous games that we send reporters and photographers to each week.

Of course, we’ll be at games featuring top-ranked teams.

But we aim to spread our coverage around.
