AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A Silver Alert was issued Wednesday morning for a missing 76-year-old woman who has Alzheimer’s.
The Austin Police Department said Cathie McCown was last seen on Wednesday, Oct. 30, around 3:45 a.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel-Arboretum at 8901 Business Park Drive.
McCown has Alzheimer’s and can be non-verbal at times, according to APD. Police said they are concerned about her safety and immediate welfare.
McCown is described as:
White female
5’0”
Approximately 99 pounds
Dark hair with gray streaks, wears hair down
Scarring at the top of her head
McCown was last seen wearing:
Red top
Salmon colored undershirt
Levi’s blue jeans
Brown leather shoes with no socks
Has wrist wrap on right wrist
