J-K Assembly to hold first session today, after 6 years; Speaker's election to take place

The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly will hold its first session in six years on Monday. The election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker is on the agenda, with candidates proposed by the National Conference and BJP, respectively.
