Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the BJP's campaign tactics in Jharkhand. He questioned the BJP's commitment to addressing alleged Bangladeshi infiltration. Kharge accused the BJP of targeting Jharkhand's coal resources. He also demanded the release of coal dues owed to the state. Jharkhand held assembly elections in two phases on November 13 and 20.
