Where The Traitors series one cast are now – from Love Island USA to acting success and relationship milestones
WHEN The Traitors kicked off in 2023, no one could have expected it would become the juggernaut it now is – especially not the contestants.
Signing onto the series in the hopes of bagging up to £120,000, the aim of the game is simple: find the killers, win challenges to build up the bank, and don’t get killed in the process.
Soon the intense game of whodunnit sparked some of the most memorable moments on British reality TV, as players lied and schemed their way closer to the cash.
In series one, the faithfuls won out, and in an intense final decision, managed to cast out the last remaining traitor in order to split the cash three ways.
Aaron Evans, Meryl Williams and Hannah Byczkowski emerged victorious, splitting the accumulated £101,050.
But what has happened to the players in the years since? Here’s everything you need to know.
Aaron Evans (Faithful)
This Portsmouth property agent managed to keep his wits about him and play nice, emerging as a winner at the end.
In February 2024 he appeared on Celebrity Mastermind, raising money for North Devon Hospice, who looked after his terminally ill nan.
Clearly getting the reality TV bug, Aaron appeared on First Dates, and then participated in Love Island USA in June, lasting 30 days before being dumped from the Fiji villa, just two days before the finale.
That October, he completed the Cycling Spain challenge to raise money for mental health charity, Mind.
He’s also worked on superyachts.
Meryl Williams (Faithful)
Meryl was the second winner of the series, also taking home just over £33,000.
She’s since launched a podcast You & Me, alongside Married At First Sight UK star Erica Roberts.
The former call centre agent has also embraced her new celeb status by attending events including the Baftas and the Wicked premiere.
She also competed on The Weakest Link Celebrity Special in 2023.
Hannah Byczkowski (Faithful)
Since leaving The Traitors a winner, Hannah has pursued her dream of stand-up comedy – touring across the UK.
She also hosts the Ghost Huns podcast, which details creepy ghost stories every week.
Wilfred Webster (Traitor)
Poor Wilfred was so close to winning, but missed out when traitor Kieran somewhat exposed him at the final roundtable with a ‘parting gift’.
At the end of 2022, he tied the knot with his wife, Yiota, with whom he has two children.
While he maintained his ‘regular’ job, Wilfred now also does a lot of content creation online – particularly TikTok, where he now has 529,000 followers.
In September 2024, in honour of suicide prevention day, Wilf walked 291 miles from London to Liverpool to raise money for mental health charity, Calm.
At the end of the year, he had a hair transplant, with him documenting his journey online.
Kieran Thompsett (Traitor)
Kieran Thompsett did not leave The Traitors quietly, delivering a parting shot after he was banished by throwing Wilfred under the bus.
He now hosts podcast Secrets and Sabotage alongside comedian pal Emmanuel Sonubi.
Kieran’s also branched out into acting, appearing in F1, due for release this year, opposite Brad Pitt, Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley and Damson Idris.
Maddy Smedley (Faithful)
Maddy’s acting skills became public knowledge on The Traitors, with her revealing she’d had spots on Casualty and EastEnders.

In 2024, she joined the cast of BBC’s Pilgrimage to get in touch with her religious roots.

At the end of 2024 sat down with Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss the future and needs of the NHS.
Alex Gray (Faithful)
Alex appeared on the show alongside boyfriend Tom Elderfield – although the pair initially kept their relationship secret from the rest of the players.
Alex and Tom are still together, and at the end of 2024, bought their first house together, which they are currently renovating.
She is also hoping to launch a career as a presenter, and remains a keen horserider
Rayan Rachedi (Faithful)
Compared to other members of the cast, Rayan doesn’t keep up with social media.
However, he hosts podcast It’s Just A Game, alongside fellow players Wilf and Ivan.
Each week, the group recap episodes of their favourite competition shows (including The Traitors, obviously) and give their insight into the gameplay.
Alyssa Chan (Traitor)
After a long streak of avoiding detection, Alyssa became the first traitor to be caught in the series.
In July 2023, Alyssa graduated Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh with a first class honours in business management.
Since then, Alyssa has been travelling the world, enjoying trips to Bali, Ireland, Indonesia and Montenegro.
She has largely removed herself from the spotlight and now lives a ‘normal’ life.
Matt Harris (Faithful)
Since leaving the show, Matt has been showing off his cycling and skiing skills on social media.
Similar to Alyssa, he has largely removed himself from the public eye, sharing only updates on his latest stunts and travels around the UK.
Tom Elderfield (Faithful)
Tom shocked the group when he announced to everyone over breakfast that he was in a secret relationship with Alex.
As previously mentioned, the couple are still going strong.
He is also hoping to make his way as a presenter, with a magical twist, showing off his latest tricks online.
John McManus (Faithful)
This Scottish star may not have got far on the show – but he has a pretty impressive acting CV under his belt.

He is next lined-up to appear in Netflix’s adaptation of Frankenstein.

He also hosts podcast It’s Only A Game with Wilf and Rayan, and participated alongside Wilf in the London to Liverpool trek for Mind.
Imran Nasim (Faithful)
Imran is the youngest person in the world to hold a PhD in Astrophysics.
However, he has not been active on his social media profiles for the past year – last sharing an update in October 2023 to reveal he had been spending time in Japan.
He now works as a Generative AI Engineer at IBM.
Claire Barratt (Faithful)
Claire was a TikTok sensation before entering The Traitors – and now she has more than a million followers on the video site.
She often posts updates about her life as a glamorous mum to two boys, aged 21 and six.
She has also launched her own company, Claireabella.
Nicky Wilding (Faithful)
Nicky is a keen runner and swimmer, showing her fitness journey extensively online.
She famously appeared on the show in a bid to help get the money she needs to buy a bionic arm after losing her right arm in a car crash at the age of 22.
Unfortunately, she was banished when people found her suspicious.
At the time of writing, her GoFundMe to raise the £80,000 target currently stands at 67% complete.
