NLC India Renewables Ltd (NIRL) and Assam Power Distribution Company Ltd (APDCL) have formed a joint venture to develop 1000 MW solar power projects in Assam. NIRL will hold a 51% stake, while APDCL will have 49%. The projects will ensure energy security and socio-economic growth for the state.
