Gujarat has reported its fourth human metapneumovirus (HMPV) case in less than a week, with a nine-month-old in Ahmedabad testing positive. Previous cases include an eight-year-old, an 80-year-old, and a two-month-old from Rajasthan. HMPV spreads through respiratory droplets and can cause fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, and cough.
