India launches a national registry for rare blood donors. This initiative addresses the needs of patients requiring frequent transfusions. The registry, created by ICMR-NIIH, will integrate with e-Raktakosh. This integration will help patients easily find blood banks and procure rare blood. It will also assist blood banks in managing their stock.
