Farooq Abdullah stated that National Conference might approach the Supreme Court if the Centre delays restoring statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed hope that statehood would restore full powers and also voiced concerns about the recent Pahalgam attack, questioning security effectiveness despite a heavy security presence and advanced technology.
