Senior citizens can now avail attractive fixed deposit rates, with some banks offering up to 8.8% for three-year tenures on deposits up to Rs 3 crore. While these banks offer higher interest rates, you should be limiting exposure to these banks till the the DICGC insurance limit of Rs 5 lakh.
