7-Eleven Announces Major Change for Slurpee Day
It's July, which means 7-Eleven Day is just around the corner.
On July 11, 7-Eleven will offer a free small Slurpee to its customers. The convenience store chain has been celebrating this special occasion every year since 2002.
Of course, classic flavors like Blue Raspberry and Cherry will be available on 7-Eleven Day. However, soda-inspired flavors like Coca-Cola, Vernors Ginger Ale, Dr Pepper and Mountain Dew will also be included in this promotion.
That being said, 7-Eleven is putting a bit of a spin on this year's special day. Some customers can get not one, but two free Slurpees.
7-Eleven's rewards members who can their app on July 11 will receive a coupon for a second free small Slurpee. They'll have to redeem that coupon by July 31.
Additionally, 7-Eleven is introducing "Tongue-toos" for its 98th birthday this year. It's a temporary tattoo that'll activate an "S" symbol after customers drink a Slurpee.
"Simply enjoy a Slurpee drink, apply the tattoo on the tongue and wait for the big reveal," 7-Eleven said in its announcement.
Only rewards members can get their hands on "Tongue-toos" on 7-Eleven Day.
Here are a few cities participating in this promotion:
