Carlos Alcaraz Turns Heads With 1-Word Message on White Crocs
When you think of Carlos Alcaraz, you think of his tennis prowess, not his fashion sense.
And you certainly don't think about Crocs.
But they did match his tennis whites.
Before his Wimbledon final against Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner, Alcaraz was spotted strolling around the streets of London on July 12 wearing white Crocs with a one-word message on them.
Carlitos.
He's explained before that this is the name he prefers to be called, not Carlos.
“I don’t like being called Carlos. I like Carlitos or Charlie. Honestly, Carlos seems very serious to me and it seems that I have done something wrong," Alcaraz once said, according to Essentially Sports. Carlitos is an affectionate term for Carlos in Spanish.
He was also wearing gray shorts and a white T-shirt, according to the photo that went viral on X. He paired the Crocs with white Nike athletic socks.
The photos included a close-up of Alcaraz's Crocs. Of course, as the #2 ranked tennis player in the world, and the recent French Open victor against Sinner, it's tempting to say that Alcaraz can wear whatever he wants.

Some fans weighed in on the Crocs online. The reactions were mixed.
"Wearing socks with crocs look so ugly," proclaimed one X user.
"He's got them in sport mode," wrote another.
Others liked the relaxed vibe amid the pressures of Wimbledon.
"Wimbledon champ energy with zero effort Carlitos really said comfort and cool," another person wrote.
"Crocs are okay around the house and the beach but isn’t that hard on your feet in the London streets? We need those precious feet protected before the final tomorrow! We need to get his coach to get him inside now!!" proclaimed another fan.
Alcaraz certainly has the net worth to purchase whatever kind of shoes he wants. He was worth an estimated $40 million in 2025, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
